Turn off all lights. The front camera can see infrared LEDs that night-vision cameras use — invisible to your eyes.
How it works
Night-vision cameras light the room with infrared LEDs your eyes cannot see. Most phone front cameras have a weaker IR filter, so these LEDs appear as purple-white dots. CamGuard marks steady ones automatically.- Make the room completely dark.
- Test first: point a TV remote at the front camera and press a button — you should see it flash.
- Slowly sweep the whole room, including the ceiling.
