Turn off room lights. Point the back camera slowly at walls, smoke detectors, clocks, chargers, mirrors and vents.
How it works
Every camera lens bounces light straight back to its source. With the flash on and a red filter, that reflection shows up as a sharp bright pin-point. CamGuard tracks every bright point frame by frame and circles the ones that stay steady — like a lens does — while ignoring moving reflections.- Move slowly, 1–2 metres from the surface.
- Check smoke detectors, clocks, AC vents, chargers, photo frames, mirrors, TV, set-top box, plants and shower heads.
- Red circle = steady reflection, check it physically. Yellow = still analysing.
